Why we collect data and what we do with it
We collect the minimum amount of data possible, in order to serve our customers, and no more than that.
When making a booking you will be directed to our booking page which requests some information which is required to make your stay as comfortable and as streamlined as possible.
We do not save customer credit card numbers at any time.
We may from time to time send customers marketing emails if they have consented for us to do so. We make it as easy as possible to unsubscribe from those emails with one click of the mouse.
Who to contact to see what information has been stored and to correct inaccuracies
To find out what information we hold on you, please email hello@emmettsonexmoor.com with your details and we’ll reply within 30 days with the information.
How to be forgotten and unsubscribe
If you receive a marketing email from us, you’ll see there is a prominent link in the footer to unsubscribe from the mailing list.
Alternatively, you can request to be removed from our records by emailing hello@emmettsonexmoor.com.
What Emmetts on Exmoor would do in the event of a breach of data
We would contact the Information Commission Office within 72 hours and tell the individual if the data leak involves information that can lead to: discrimination, financial loss, loss of confidentiality, damage to reputation and economics and social disadvantage.
