Hangley Cottage

Hangley Cottage sits at the foot of the main driveway and enjoys excellent views of the moor from the garden – the garden at the rear is perfect for a barbecue! Guests can explore the 900 acre estate straight from the cottage’s front door.

During spring 2021, Hangley Cottage was redecorated and refurbished throughout.

Downstairs there is a kitchen come dining space with a separate larder for all of your holiday essentials. The extra special feature in the kitchen is the Rayburn which makes the space warm and inviting.

The dual aspect sitting room is the place to go for relaxing. There is a comfortable corner sofa, a television with DVD player, board games and, best of all, a wood burner to keep everyone cosy.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms at the front of the property and a smaller bedroom at the rear containing bunk beds. The bathroom is compact and has a bath with a shower over it.

The property also offers a downstairs loo, utility room with washing machine, dishwasher and electric oven along with plenty of space for boots and coats as well as a garage for either a car or to keep bicycles under cover during your stay.

There is space for up to two vehicles at the front of the property, so access with bags is very easy! Any additional vehicles can be parked a short walk away in the tennis court parking area. Guests are very welcome to bring along up to two dogs, but are asked to abide by Emmetts on Exmoor’s dog policy.
