Be it clay shooting, a foraging expedition, orienteering or an entirely bespoke activity programme, we can put together an out-of-the-ordinary team building activity package to suit your needs.
Weddings at Emmetts
The traditional stone-built barn would make your wedding one of the first and unique weddings here at Emmetts. Set on the highest farm on Exmoor, the barn is surrounded by a picturesque courtyard of original buildings plus uninterrupted moorland views.
The barn can seat up to 80 guests internally and there is adjacent hard standing area for a marquee if you are planning a larger celebration.
Emmetts has the ability to provide bar facilities and various entertainment options can be recommended. The barn has it's own Sonos speaker system, microphone and Samsung Frame television.
In addition to the barn, Emmetts has a beautiful stone-walled garden and laid to lawn area for your guests to enjoy drinks and canapes on arrival or within which to hold your ceremony.
A number of recommended suppliers and sample menus can be supplied to prospective couples, whether you envisage a formal sit-down breakfast, buffet style or something more out of the box, the team can help you choose and organise your day!
Filming location
Looking for the ideal location for your film or TV drama? Filming is welcomed in the house, traditional courtyard and grounds as well as on the moorland. The variation in environments makes Emmetts the ideal filming location. 2021 saw filming take place for Hakan Nesser's 'The Living and the Dead in Winsford'.
Product launch destination
Emmetts is a venue that allows you to make a statement. Indoor and outdoor product launches are possible and clients are encouraged to think beyond press conferences and drinks receptions - the destination is high impact and will help you to break the mould.
Private events
Emmetts is a private estate with country house, bedrooms, grounds and occasion barn. It is available to hire for all private events and parties including a landmark birthday celebration, engagement parties, intimate soirees, exercise classes, gallery sessions, charity events and much more!
